BLK List: Smoke & Mirrors

If you are a big fan of fashion, photography and art this Christmas you can of course go to the Auckland Museum to see Selling Dreams, a fashion photography masterclass. Equally, if you are a big fan of New Zealand fashion, photography and art then we wholeheartedly suggest picking up a copy of Smoke & Mirrors for yourself or a loved one. Karen Inderbitzen-Waller and Delphine Avril Planqueel's gorgeous collaborative photographic study spans seven years and almost as many countries. Of course fashion and models are represented and with big names like Julia Nobis, Vinnie Woolston, Zippora and Jasper Seven and Olivia O'Driscoll captured in a perfectly Kavril way. But there are also many beautiful still lifes, landscapes and found places and objects that represent a true depth of vision from the pair.
