Blacklog: Nom D by David K. Shields

10 February 2017

We shot model Taela Aitcheson @ Aart Models, Dunedin in the city’s iconic Cargill’s Castle and surrounds after his debut at last year's iD Fashion Week.

Amongst the ruins of the castle – originally built on the cliffs above the Pacific Ocean for Edward Cargill, the son of city founder William Cargill in the late 19th century – Taela, wearing Nom D with a dash of Company of Strangrs and accessories from Tanya Carlson, looks like the phoenix rising from the ashes… In the chill of a southern winter the warmth was most welcome!

iD Fashion Week runs this year from March 18-26 in Dunedin. Tickets for the premier shows, the iD International Emerging Designer Awards and the iD Railway Show are available from Ticketmaster. Find out more at www.idfashion.co.nz
