Comi-Cool @ Nom*d SS18 by David K. Shields

Art & Fashion collide at iD Fashion Week, Dunedin

18 May 2018

When the "Comi-cool" of Nom*d went on show during iD Dunedin Fashion Week's release of SS18 Jeepers Creepers, they again gave us something new, with just that bit more - this seemed only appropriate at a celebration of the future, in a week where the young designers of the world gather to showcase the talent they'll bring to the world of fashion in years to come.

As always the iconic label we call a friend here at BLACK, stepped up, and out, and into an intergalactic feast for the eyes and senses - with nods to all from the truth of science, drama of cinema noir and the fantasy of the 2 dimensional world of cartoons - it was a 3D visual spectacular and the visitors to their brave new world(s) were immersed in the mash up of it all. The audio-visual aspects spilled over their everpresent punk-grunge aesthetic, and gave us yet another captivating  and enthralling "moment in time" in the ever evolving story that is Nom*d!
